We see clients for a variety of issues: Self-esteem and confidence issues, stress related issues, relationship and intimacy problems, couples therapy, depression and anxiety.

Often, people also seek psychotherapy as a means of personal growth and development. We see this as consistent with the goals of psychotherapy – therapy is not just for “treatment” but also for self-understanding, awareness, and inner growth.

Our approach is eclectic but is largely guided by a transpersonal and existential perspective, along with the work of Kohut, and Kernberg, transactional analysis, gestalt therapy and Jungian analysis.

In addition, Dr Bhat has developed and practices Integral Self Therapy, which integrates guided meditation, visualization, and clinical hypnosis with cognitive therapy and transactional analysis.
